so lowk i think this is just the thing where you have an Accepted Anglicized Pronunciation of your ethnic name and it's like chill and still Correct to a Degree but someone making an effort to say it Properly is still meaningful? like this is my life experience at least lol

….because David complimented Jonathan for not being insecure like one of Olivia’s cast mates? If anything this just legitimizes what he said earlier. There are men in Hollywood who are afraid of being vulnerable around women in film out of fear of their “masculinity” being at risk. Men who are willing to be vulnerable or rescued by women are unfortunately the exception currently, not the norm. To be upset about someone acknowledging this flaw and praising a fellow actor for recognizing that humility is an essential part of healthy masculinity (as well as just being a human) is strange and kinda just comes off as you wanting to make your own narrative to hate him or the very notion of masculinity, healthy or unhealthy. Granted, to each their own.
