@BrockBlades @Americore1776 Yes, we did the same thing when entering criminal information into our databases. Hispanics were always counted as white but there was no "H" identifier on the federal side.

@HomesteadAmeric Hard assets like real estate generally hold their value. Stocks...well that's another story, & it would likely be industry specific eg. luxury yacht maker might decrease in value as less people can afford them while a utility or food company might be stable or increase in value.

Anyone predicting a housing market or stock market crash has never read a history book. Market prices NEVER go down during times of inflation or hyper inflation. But don't be fooled into thinking assets you hold are increasing in value. All those assets are valued in PAPER currencies.

@SarahisCensored That conviction won't hold up on appeal. The courts have ruled time and again that using offensive language is protected unless you're threatening or inciting others to violence.

@SarahisCensored Hopefully the MN court will uphold her rights under the first amendment as the courts have done over & over again in the past. Whether we agree with what she said or not is irrelevant. The precedent this will set if the gov is allowed to curb speech via law is very dangerous.

The situation escalated when another man started filming her, and Shiloh used a racial slur toward the boy and the man recording. She now faces two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct (“fighting words”), with up to 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine per count. Many see this as a First Amendment test case. Today was day 4 of trial and court resumed at 830 am. Prosecution rested yesterday. Defense is calling its final two witnesses this morning, followed by closing arguments. A verdict is expected today. Stay tuned.
