Access to water is no longer a guaranteed, it has become a constant struggle. Instead of children carrying heavy water gallons for kilometers, Handala team delivers water directly to the camps, reducing the distance to just a few meters. This suffering never truly ends, but we are trying to ease the pain and burden on children who have been forced to take on the responsibility of providing water for their families. We are working on the ground in Gaza, providing food, water, and aid to displaced and devastated families living a reality that those outside Gaza can hardly imagine. Children deprived of the most basic rights that children around the world have: a meal to eat and a home that protects them. Their homes have been destroyed, and their families now live in harsh conditions in what are called “tents” — tents that protect them neither from the cold, nor from hunger, nor from fear.
