Friends of Friars Gardens would like @EalingCouncil to designate our 3 triangular greens in #ActonCentral as LGS in their #localplan These spaces are highly valued by our community and testimonials we are collecting show this. 214 responses so far! @_petermason@deirdrecostigan
Will you help protect Central Acton's three greens?
We're launching a campaign to ask @EalingCouncil to designate Friars Place Green, #FriarsGardens and St Dunstan's Gardens as Local Green Space. If you live in W3, please add your voice #acton#localplanforms.gle/zRahkM61C6Ddya…
To live we need green space and clean air. Support #FriendsOfFriarsGardens, our sister green, as their supporters launch a campaign to combat engine idling. Join in the demonstration. Saturday 10 June from 11am to 1.30pm at Acton Central level crossing. Bring your placard! #acton
Delighted to say that the application to build on St Dunstan’s Gardens has been rejected by the council.
In a triumphant display of togetherness, we’ve managed to amass 798 objections as well as solid support from our councillors.
Thanks to all our supporters
It doesn’t matter if a developer has a good purpose (such as providing care homes) or a less altruistic motive (such as creating luxury homes) for a land grab. If the land is a Public Open Space it is not for Leo Acton (from north of England not Acton) to build on! @EalingMatters

We're up to over 500 objections already. Please add your voice and stop the land grab at St Dunstan's Gardens, W3 @MumsnetEaling Go to our website for a direct link
Can you help us? @GoldsmithsCo Residents are desperate to protect the beautiful public gardens that the Goldsmiths Company laid out 100 years ago in Acton, from being built on. handsoffourgreen.co.uk

It’s an ecological scandal to build on any urban green space #handsoffourgreen Object now using the direct link on our campaign website handsoffourgreen.co.uk
Object to this illegal proposal! See link below. A developer wants to build on our community green in an area of W3 deficient in green space. Here's his plan for 52 units and 22 parking bays
