Greetings everyone, Congressman Hank Johnson here representing Georgia's Fourth District. I'm outside the state capitol after having qualified for my 11th term. I appreciate everyone's support and look forward to continuing to serve you.

In Washington this week, I joined my colleagues in calling for DHS Sec. Noem to resign. If not, we're going to impeach her. We want ICE out of our communities. No one deserves this. Enough is enough.

I'm pleased to receive the support of such a venerable organization that defends the oppressed, defends free speech and advances justice for all.

My friend and former colleague, the late-great John Lewis, told us all to get in good trouble, necessary trouble. That's what we did Saturday in solidarity with Minnesotans and the tyranny we see unfolding in front of our very eyes.

Today, I'm voting for a clean extension of the ACA tax credits. Thousands of my constituents premiums will skyrocket w/o extending the subsides. To my MAGA colleagues in Congress -- why have this power if we're not going to use it to help Georgians and the American people?

I'm standing up for Americans' healthcare, reducing costs and fighting to make things more affordable for Georgians. I want the government to reopen like everyone else, but not at the expense of everyday, hard-working people. I will be a No vote!

This Veterans Day, I not only honor those who served and uplift their sacrifices, but I pledge to continue my work in Congress to ensure veterans and their families get the care and the benefits they've earned.
