@DucuGavril What do you mean by "these sort of 'journalists'"? @TomasForro is a serious award-winning journalist and author who has been publishing about the war since 2014.

@TraineeFella Ďakujem za záujem o knihu, fellow Fella; malo by to fungovať tak, že pokiaľ nebude in stock, objednajú ju na request. Napísala by som im email. Ak sa nepodarí, ozvi sa, kópiu nejak dopravíme.

All those who say they are for peace in the Russia-Ukraine war now have the perfect opportunity to appeal to both countries to withdraw their forces to the internationally-recognised border.

Once again, I have to remind simple things. It is not Putin who kills, tortures and rapes civilians in Ukraine. Ordinary Russians do these atrocities. The constant attempts to shift the responsibility for this war solely to Putin look somewhat strange. But when you work every day with war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by ordinary Russians, then these attempts look simply obscene. This will be a long thread. About how ordinary Russians justify murders and war. On why this is #NotJustPutinWar. Read what the readers of Medusa, which is banned in Russia, write about Russian aggression in Ukraine.  Reminder. If we want to solve a problem, we must have the courage to see what this problem is about. 1/18

#Fundraising for #Ukraine 🇺🇦⚠️ #Fellas Since 2022 I've been a patron to "Little Mariupol" - a support centre in Dnipro for IDPs from Mariupol and beyond, set up by Mariupol IDP Kyrylo. He needs $7000 for a generator strong enough to overcome energy shortages🧵

@TheseusofDillon That's very kind and much appreciated! How did you find the writing style and the 'drier' more academic parts of the book where I make links with history or discuss identity? I'm very curious to find this out ))

@HankJostic Thank you! I finished reading your book. I learned so much! Not just the specifics, but your methodology. I applaud your ‘in the trenches’ approach. Not everyone would put themselves in harms way. Something could have very gone wrong. You could have been hurt or killed! Bravery!

@HankJostic Continuing to read your book. Just got to page 100. Sadly, I did not read for awhile. I learned that a dear friend took his life. He had many friends and we are left to wonder what caused him to make such an irreversible decision.

@TheseusofDillon The psychology behind mobilization (and how people choose sides) is fascinating. There are a few scholars who deal with the psychology of protest (interdisciplinary). As to picking a side, I try to dig into the underlying reasons that shaped people's psychological makeup.

@HankJostic Carl Sagan reminds us that as a species, we are in our infancy. Most of our formative years were as hunter gatherers. Under stress, we are very primitive as our survival depended on our primitive responses. I am happy to see that you include cognitive studies.
