Quick update on the playoff picture.
Rankings updated at some point on 5/15. A couple key games have not been input yet, but here's where I have things as of noon 5/16.
Hoping we get another ranking update at some point later today. #PDPreps

NCS Baseball Playoff Picture (5/14) The ranking updates this week have caused a bunch of changes. I don't expect any other crazy jumps to happen between now and Sunday, but we will see. MaxPreps can be funky late in the year. #PDPreps

13 seed SRJC softball upset 4 seed Sierra in the 1st round of the CCCAA NorCal playoffs. Best-of-3 series, won the opener 9-8, lost game 2 11-10 and won game 3 15-10.
Sierra was ranked No. 8 in the state, SRJC No. 19.
Bear Cubs face 5 seed Hartnell in the next round

NEWS: Almost a year to the date since being hired, Frank McManus is no longer the head football coach at Cardinal Newman.
McManus stepped down earlier this week. Assistant coach Kenny McMillan has been elevated to HC. #PDPreps

@JustGusPD Looks like their reign might be shorter than we thought. Wonder if some of those international kids follow. Losing them and Pitts would be detrimental to them especially with their schedule.

@Loranza80 @georgewrighster No I bet OSU and Michigan were, maybe Penn state. But I don’t think it was to nearly the same extent as the SEC. Also only 1 team has been proven guilty and it’s Tennessee. However I do know players from both conferences have said programs paid them.

2) SEC teams are playing more NfL talent week to week. The wear and tear adds up. It’s why playing an 8 game SEC schedule is more brutal than a 9 game B10 schedule.
