We serve a God who breathes life into the shattered soul and creates something new and more beautiful than ever before. And you are never so broken that God can’t make something beautiful out of your life. Dare to believe it, sweet friend.

Students that have trouble self regulating, focusing, and staying on task don’t need more rules. They need more recess and physical activity.

God is always doing something. Keep trusting Him. He sees you. He loves you. And He knows exactly what needs to happen in every detail of your story. You do not serve a do-nothing God.

You’re not who people say you are. You’re not who social media says you are. You’re not who the scale says you are. You’re who GOD says you are. And He says you're loved. He says you are held. He says You're His. Forever His.

When God doesn’t seem to be answering our prayers in the way we expect, then we must trust there’s something He knows that we don’t know.

Yes!! I need TIME do do all the things being asked/required but also to sharpen pencils, sweep, organize/make copies, get manipulatives ready, lesson plan, hang anchor charts etc etc etc

Admin, take care of your staff by limiting meetings, keep planning open, give breaks from duty & ask how else you can help them. Servant leadership is critical to help your staff thrive!

I wish school admins would stop thinking that every classroom visit should be followed up with written improvement area for the teacher. Why can’t a classroom visit just be a visit?

@LVGintheLibrary @watkinswildcats That’s awesome! I didn’t get to see you yesterday, but Elijah was reading with me and I asked how he knew the genre of the book. Part of his answer was how you taught them about how F vs NF was coded on the library shelves based on the code he saw on the book😊

Today a Watkins teacher told me how my library lessons have made an impact. During a class read aloud, this sweet girl raised her hand & said, “That’s a text to text connection. We learned about that in library class.” She knew all the other kinds of connections too 🥹 #SPSlib

The amazing @HannahChrist1 had her students make me cards for #NationalLibrarianDay and I’ve been weepy ever since 😭😭😭

The Science™ was always politics. When they say The Science™ has changed, therefore, they mean that the politics has changed. Which it has. But it was never actual science.
