@HannahDavisCIC Glad you’re ok Hannah! How scary for this to happen. Agree that listening to your body is hard but so necessary. Glad you went in to get it checked out. Hoping you have a smooth recovery & take the time you need to heal ❤️

(1) Completely forgot about putting this on Twitter, but I promised myself I would use my time stuck on the couch for spreading awareness. Last week, I had emergency surgery to have 2 arterial blood clots removed from my right leg. Lots of people have asked how this happened:

(10) Moral of the story: listen to your body! It will tell you when something is wrong! Thankfully I started listening before things got too far into the danger zone, but not by much. When I told the surgeon how many days things had been happening he was literally speechless.

(9) the other had broken into chunks. Everything has been removed and my entire body has been checked for more. I’m all clear for now! I’m waiting for all sorts of test results, so hopefully there will be some kind of answer(s) soon.

@LoriCollege I don’t remember the exact moment, but I’ve been on Twitter at least 10 years (under another account). For some reason it was the preferred method of communication when I was in college lol.

But what if it’s brand new????? Then it’s clean!!

I think we should normalize wearing sweatpants to the office.
