This is the moment the portrait was revealed last night of @JulesLewis6 , our Ambassador, @bbcarts #extraordinaryportraits @BillBailey Jules took her family with her, and also Hannah, the daughter of Jules’ best friend who sadly died in 2019. It was an incredibly emotional moment seeing the daffodils in the painting, as these were Hannah’s mum’s favourite flower. Jules said; ‘when you lose someone you love you don’t think you are going to ever smile or laugh again, but you do. She wanted to show there is #hope, and with kindness and compassion, there is a way forward. We thank Jules and all nurses who go above and beyond for their patients and their families. #onechance 🧡☂️#NHS75

Good morning all, This is a this clip from next Monday’s #Extraordinaryportraits with @BillBailey featuring our wonderful Ambassador, @JulesLewis6 They talk about when during the height of Covid 19, Jules and her team @sathNHS facilitated a wedding for Terry and Jenny who was sadly at the end of her life, and what that meant to them both. Bill says ‘Jules radiates from her core, kindness and compassion’. We agree, and thank Jules and all those health professionals who go above and beyond to make a difference to the lives of so many at the darkest of times. We are excited to watch this episode next week and see what Belinda creates to honour Jules and her work in the NHS. 🧡💙
