Here is something for my students headed to college at a different school than their SO. My husband rode a razor scooter across campus in college. Going to different schools can have benefits. 🤦🏻‍♀️

When a student walks into your classroom, plops down in the chair, and puts their head on their desk, your first thought should not be: “disrespectful student.” Your first thought should be: “What does this child need?” #TeachBetter

@SbruceSammie @TechieTeachOtt Maybe they lack the confidence to think that they could do anything to help. (I realize that it’s messed up to admit that teachers put their insecurities before student needs)

I am contemplating creating a book club for 10th graders next year around the idea of identity. I will have a wide range of reading abilities. I am thinking I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter as a start. Do you have any other title suggestions?
