No, it's not revisionism. Draymond's ascendence into the lineup is what got them to leap frog clippers (and thunder) in west.
And it was him, NOT Kerr's plan. Kerr had no plan to play him. KErr is on record saying "Lee starts, and HB is my backup PF".
The reality is Draymond forced the issue. Credit Kerr for recognizing it and leaning into it though. Always my fav quality about him, he responds to what he sees on floor.

This is extreme revisionist history Did you really just credit Draymond for losing a 7-game series to the Clippers? He never beat them in the playoffs until 2019, a No. 1 vs. No 8 where they lost 2 games and gave up 135 & 129 points to a team led by Lou Williams & Gallinari.

I think the way his lack of a whistle informs his game, which in turn impacts his body, doesn’t get discussed enough. He has to move non-stop to get a shot off because otherwise people are holding him. Allowing him to be manhandled is genuinely increasing his injury risk.
