***Traffic Alert*** Old Ridge Road is closed between Taylorsville Road and Powerline Drive due to an overturned tractor trailer.

All lanes of Mechanicsville Turnpike and Walnut Grove Road are now open. Dominion is still on scene working, but all lanes of travel are now open.

Please avoid Mechanicsville Turnpike at Walnut Grove Road due to a significant crash and power lines down. The intersection is closed. Both directions of Mechanicsville Turnpike and Walnut Grove Road are closed at this time.

Spring Run Road is now open.

Spring Run Road is closed between Studley and Holly Bluffs due to a disabled tractor trailer. School transportation is aware. No ETA on the heavy duty wrecker at this time. Seek an alternate route if you travel this section of Spring Run Road.

Due to the storm last night, E. Patrick Henry Road (Rt. 54) is closed at the Taylor Complex. Mount Hermon Road at Cheroy Road is also closed. Please drive slow and cautious this morning on your way to work.

Earlier today, Investigators with the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office took a juvenile into custody in connection with the recent altercation involving a firearm. The investigation remains active as efforts continue to identify the other individuals involved in this incident.
