More than 200 Spanish trade unions have announced a general strike in Spain to protest the genocide in Gaza and the occupation of Palestine. “The message we want to send to the Spanish government, the EU, and the world is to end all relations with Israel.”

1 more week until essential workers will rally in Brussels. They are employed on public contracts. But they face low wages, dangerous workloads and a lack of recognition for keeping communities safe, clean and fed during Covid-19. They deserve better public procurement rules.

Aankomen in Brussels Airport is een snelcursus België. Chaos, wachtrijen, toegangspoortjes die niet werken, roltrappen die niet werken, struikelen over het vuil. En dan is het wachten op een overvolle pendelaarsboemel waarvoor je “expresstarief” betaalt. En zo gaat al jaren.
