One of the skills I am so grateful for is First Aid Yearly refresher completed today - always makes me reflect a little when I consider what some of this could be used for !

Busy weekend this weekend… Out and about on duty Saturday night - trip around the county catching up with Specials on duty Then a Specials recruitment event and a chance to meet some good candidates wanting to volunteer within Hampshire & IOW Very enjoyable all round 🤩

Today, the CPS authorised 7 charges including weapon and various drug supply offences. The likely starting point for sentencing is 4 years and 6 months. An amazing and worthwhile experience. A long way to go until sentencing but very rewarding and my proudest achievement so far.

Stopped a vehicle in #Southampton. Two out of county males detained and searched. After one of the males heavily resisted making off in handcuffs, I used PAVA and arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A. Further search found crack & heroin #90289

Great to welcome 9 new SCs to Hampshire & IOW this evening. Induction completed and some key pointers for the future such as Code Of Ethics. They’ve also picked up their uniform, taken their ID photo and set up their smartphones ready for Attestation later in week.

It’s all about NPMD this weekend. Privilege to attend and pay respects.
