@lukescarif tbh i think most of it is caused by social conditioning. when i was a kid, i was told i couldn’t like certain things because of my gender.

hate hate HATE when people say no star wars is for boys, not girls because... why?? because it was made by a man and has male characters?? because it's set in space and girls cant possibly have an interest in that or war or politics? star wars is made for everyone

rey will forever be one of my favorite characters because of this. i need to see her back in the big screen!

before the sequels i knew nothing about star wars and thought it was for boys. when the force awakens came out, i watched all of the films with my mom and the rest is history. rey was the reason i became a fan.
