Solanke may have more goals but that is in a Tottenham side that lets be honest have been poor and I think Welbeck has been worlds above Solanke. Plus Solanke has only come back from a long term injury

@HaphazardGecko @joethomlinson Haha this is a complete lie. Welbeck has 4 goals all comps since November 23rd 2025. Solanke was injured until 2026 and he has 6 goals already, Watkins has 1 goal in his last 10, Solanke 5.

@_jacob04_ @joethomlinson Agreed however how many times with players have we seen that an England shirt raises performances. Watkins has shown that he can be a brilliant player for England irrespective of club form.

@HaphazardGecko @joethomlinson Not necessarily “over them”, though. He needs to look at them. I get the argument of “he’s called up 5 goalkeepers” but - if you bring 4 strikers - there’s literally no world where he can see what all of them can do.
