#NBA Play: (2u, 0.5u, 0.1u) Cunningham + Banchero 3PM + Harris points + Thompson rebounds @ 3.40, 12.00, 81.00🪜 ✍️ Let’s start with the hit rates in this series Cunningham 3s: 3,1,3,3,5 on 8,6,10,11,8 Banchero 3s: 2,0,2,0,6 on 4,2,5,4,11 Harris points: 17,16,23,20,23 Thompson rebounds: 7,8,8,9,15 Cade has hit 2+ threes in 4 of the 5 games in this series, and there’s little reason to expect a change tonight. Orlando’s defensive approach has been consistent, they’re comfortable letting Cade operate from beyond the arc rather than allowing him to get downhill or into his mid-range spots. Jamahl Mosley will likely continue to live with those perimeter looks, especially given Cade’s season average of around 34% from deep. Game 5 was more of an outlier than a trend, with him shooting an unsustainably high 63% from three. While that kind of variance won’t go unnoticed, it’s unlikely to force a major adjustment. Orlando’s priority remains protecting the paint and limiting his more efficient scoring areas, which should continue to leave Cade with volume opportunities from the perimeter. It’s a very similar story with Banchero. He’s an even less efficient perimeter shooter than Cade, hitting around 31% from three, and there’s a clear reason Detroit are happy to give him those looks. Their priority is taking away his strength, the physical, downhill, bully-ball game, and protecting the rim rather than letting him get to his spots inside. That sets up the angle here perfectly. Banchero is coming off a 45-point performance in Game 5 where he knocked down 6 of 11 from deep, a level of shooting that’s clearly unsustainable. More importantly, he’s a confidence-driven shooter. We’ve seen in matchups like Charlotte and Philly that when the shot isn’t falling, he’ll abandon the three entirely, even when left wide open, opting instead to force drives into traffic or move the ball on. But off the back of a game like that, the mindset shifts. He’ll come in far more willing to let it fly, and Detroit’s defensive scheme is likely to encourage exactly that. The volume should be there again tonight. Harris has comfortably cleared this line in every game of the series (17, 16, 23, 20, 23), and it’s no coincidence, it’s a direct result of Orlando’s defensive scheme. They collapse heavily into the paint, which has completely limited Duren, whose game relies on rim pressure and interior touches. That naturally shifts the scoring burden elsewhere, and Harris is the ideal beneficiary. He’s the perfect anti-Magic archetype, operates in the mid-range, thrives on short pull-ups, and can punish rotating or tilted defences without needing to get all the way to the rim. When Cade draws attention and the paint gets crowded, the passing lanes to Duren disappear, and the ball consistently swings to Harris in space. It’s a repeatable pattern we’ve seen all series, and one that continues to put him in strong scoring positions. This is a really strong scheme-driven spot for Ausar Thompson. Orlando consistently pack the paint and prioritise rim protection, which forces opponents into pull-up jumpers and three-point attempts. Against a Detroit team that isn’t an efficient shooting side, that approach usually leads to a high volume of missed jump shots. Those misses are important because they don’t just come off the rim softly, they tend to create longer, looser rebounds that fall outside the paint. That naturally leads to more second-chance opportunities, and it shifts rebounding responsibility away from traditional bigs and toward players who can attack from the perimeter. That’s exactly where Ausar thrives. He’s not reliant on size or positioning under the rim, he’s an energy wing who crashes from the weakside, tracks the ball well, and uses his athleticism to clean up loose rebounds. With Orlando’s bigs occupied inside, those opportunities often fall to someone in his role.

Turns out the story of the year was just...made up. and it gets worse. - John Doe is Chirayu Rana, 35, now a principal at Bregal Sagemount. he left JPMorgan and went straight to private equity. - The whole "threaten his bonus" premise collapsed. Hajdini reported to a completely different managing director than Rana. she had no say over his compensation. - JPMorgan pulled phone records, reviewed emails, interviewed the full team. found nothing. Rana even refused to participate in his own investigation. - A colleague described Rana as "socially awkward" but someone who "met the requirements" to stay at the bank. - Before any lawsuit, he tried to negotiate a payout in the "millions" to leave the bank quietly. they didn't bite. - He filed court filing, then his lawyers retracted it for "corrections" and deleted it. But the Daily Mail already ran the whole thing and the rest twitter did its thing. so he tried to get paid, didn't, then filed a now-retracted complaint against someone who couldn't touch his bonus. wild. feel terrible for her and her family.

Imagine your two team mates saying they don’t want to play with you & want to try something new After said team mates help funding you across the world to play & you force them to stick with you or get their contracts terminated Even though you were getting your GTD salary you were promised, sounds made up.
