Come on, dude. At $20m a year, you get Zubac as a starter. There is no comparison to the 5th pick in a draft that has 3 top players. The entire team is back next year and now there is a starting center. It is win now. The year began without three starters and the Pacers were not "healthy" until after All Star. Obi didn't come back to much later.... KP, Chad and Ted have done an insane job building a team with a small budget in a mid market city... smh

I get the idea behind this post but saying you’re “surprised” that a basic 50/50 shot didn’t go in your favor because you felt you were “due some luck” doesn’t exactly give the impression that a proper risk assessment was done before doing this trade

So here's something I didn't know before I got in the room. The lotto combinations are sequentially assigned, not randomly. The team with the worst record starts with 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-5 and so forth. Pacers combos started with 1-4-7-10 through 1-10-12-13...

Love this post. I was their manager at the time. After the first song, I warned them that the NBC censors were watching and concerned about what they would do. As soon as I told them, DJ Muggs got a glint in his eye. I knew we were in trouble. Needless to say, post show, things didn't go well. The Cast was supportive and kind of loved what they had done, but Lorne Michaels was apoplectic.

Both were legends but neither had anything to do with Satoshi. Anyone who thinks that isn’t putting this in context. I think everyone who is certain Satoshi was multiple people is missing how unimportant bitcoin was during the first year.
There is no grand conspiracy. There is no secret team planning to save the world. There is absolutely no evidence that there were multiple people. It’s a convenient construction used to explain the fact that they cant find one person to fit the profile.
But everything from every line ever written by Satoshi suggests it was a single person, on a single schedule, with a single writing style, who was aware of all the architectural and coding decisions of Bitcoin, and that they weren’t sure if it would work, but thought they may have figured it out.
We far too often project its perceived importance *today* onto its past. But that makes no sense.
Hal and Len were legends, but every bit of legitimate evidence we have suggests Satoshi was one guy and we don’t know who he was.

These two men were GREAT men and legends.
