@GreyBeardGG It’s an anomaly. It’s quite frankly one of a kind. The devs didn’t even know the potential of the game when they made it. Truthfully I think it was a little bit of luck and a whole lot of magic.

@GreyBeardGG This is a nuanced problem, the middle of the pack is saturated with international players looking for prize money, the top of the pack are players looking for LAN spots. It’s both, the unfortunate reality is we can’t change either without SSA players losing out.

Random hot question. Is there an argument for reducing the SSA RLCS prize pool? $20k per regional ridiculously higher than any prize for any other title in the region A prize pool of $10k would discourage non-SSA teams while still being an excellent prize in the local context
