It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them. While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change. And they’re right.

@Marqrk1 @Kremmen101 @T1AetherVial @xryuran Yeah. If you wanted immigration solved, the Democrats had the most comprehensive plan in history and Trump killed it to further his own career. He wouldn't dare solve the problem, then he'd have nothing to fear monger about.

One important takeaway from the election, is that Trump didn't gain any supporters. He got 74 Million votes in 2020 He got 72 Million votes in 2024 Out of 230 Million eligible voters The problem isn't that 1/2 of America supports him, it's that 1/3 didn't bother to show up.

@Kremmen101 @xryuran I'm sorry man, I'm really trying, but I just don't get your point of view. It feels like you want me to unconditionally believe that everything you say is real. I can't do that. Even if I wanted to, it's not feasible to apply that principal to everyone.

@HardLegGaming @xryuran No, I want you to understand that my concerns are real and I shouldn't have to back that up with a bunch of charts and articles to convince you to take things seriously. Just because you think it isn't an issue doesn't make it not an issue.

@Kremmen101 What do you want me to do, pretend like DEI is an actual problem that hurts people? It doesn't. There's no data to support that. You just FEEL like it's a problem. I'm not going to pander to you or lie to make you feel better. You're an adult who deserves to be told the truth.

@HardLegGaming This is what I'm talking about. I gave an example of a policy that makes my life harder. And your response was to say big companies are using it as a scapegoat for a bad hiring market. Can you see how I might come to the conclusion that you don't care about my issues?

@Kremmen101 Which, I should clarify, is not a jab at you. I'm not trying to insinuate you have ulterior motives. I think you genuinely believe that DEI is a problem. But you can hopefully see how someone else would scoff at that notion and think you're just upset at non-white people.

@Kremmen101 Yes, lawn mowers do emit *some* smog, but not enough to harm anything. If you're worried about smog, the problem is something much bigger than you seem to be completely ignoring. So it doesn't feel like you're worried about smog, it feels like you just hate lawns.

@G5_Trash Absolutely be confrontational. But realize that those people are dwindling. If we want to make real progress, it's not about defeating our enemies, it's about recruiting more allies.

@HardLegGaming I’m just saying at some point we need to actually need to start being more confrontational with a bunch of backward, racist bigots as well as organizing. Why should bigots get to live without any fear of retribution for constantly making America worse.

@G5_Trash I'm not saying those people aren't to blame, I'm saying we shouldn't assume that the country is on Trump's side. He didn't gain any support. He has 1/3rd of country, and he always has. The only thing that changed this year is that the Democrats lost support.

@HardLegGaming Why should we let them off the hook? For all I’m concerned for example if your a person of color who’s got undocumented family and you voted for Trump I personally will call ICE on their families first. Fuck these people.
