I mean it could be worse. A centralized camp site that’s not really bothering anybody. Way better than a lot of alternatives I guess…unless someone can cure homelessness, this is better than living in a box on the Mall imo.

I am deeply grateful for the trust President Trump placed in me and for the opportunity to lead @ODNIgov for the last year and a half.

@Notalib70742007 I’m just saying I’m glad they have tents (vs boxes, stoops, etc) and a conducive place that’s not inherently disruptive to themselves or patrons in historically more trafficked areas.

The badness of homelessness is not owed to its ability to inconvenience commerce (on the mall, etc.), it’s the human suffering.
Whether homelessness is in your face or out of sight, it’s still an enormous issue.
