That’s a great catch on your part and major oversight on mine. Guard in year two of Pitino usually works out well for all sides.
My one concern with Ian would be whoever else transfers in and how much they take from him offensively. I think he’ll be much better defensively.

UConn's Jayden Ross has agreed to a deal to return to Storrs next season, sources told @TheFieldOf68. The 6-7 junior was really good down the stretch for Dan Hurley and the Huskies. He shot 39% from 3 for the season, played nearly 22 minutes per game in the final 10 games. Gives UConn a key veteran who has been in the program, knows Hurley's system/style, can defend multiple positions and has developed on the offensive end.

Potentially excellent? Yes.But we need a stud PG & 2G in addition to Ian. Then Dylan is the 4th G and we need elite bigs

Darling didn’t underperform? This is surely why the general consensus among actual ball knowers is that he’s a backup and we should prioritize a starting pg. Every guard underperformed except Darling. They all had their ups and downs😅

@JohnInAppy @DushawnLondon1 He's a big guard, overall, every guard sans Darling underperformed this year. I think St. John's is gonna prioritize size this class and they are looking for guys who can score better from 2 and 3, plus create for themselves.
