Good luck Year 6! You are all fantastic and did amazing this afternoon. Thank you to all of the children, staff and parents for a really lovely year.

Year 6 you were amazing tonight. You all were so well behaved, got along brilliantly and seemed to really have fun. Well done! We have taken lots of photos and will share the rest of them with you tomorrow.

We have renamed Class One "Frog" Class as we are all now genuine experts! Great presentations from our Year 1 and 2 children yesterday. 🐸

(cont'd) We spotted baby coots, ducks and swans on the lake before having a little picnic in the grounds of St. Andrew's Church. We are so lucky to learn in such beautiful surroundings.

(Cont'd) Year 2 were excited to see the wild flower seeds they had planted (when they were in Reception with members of the local community) in full bloom. We saw lots of pollinating insects visiting the flowers.

Class One were intrepid explorers today as we ventured into the "jungle"!

Thank you to all of the parents and grandparents who came to watch the sports day today. The children all did brilliantly!

A huge thank you to Anouska from @WNDLRAirAmb who came to talk to us about the work of our local Air Ambulance. The children listened intently to her brilliant presentation and asked lots of great questions. Thank you to our families for your donations too.

A huge thank you to the Co-op in New Duston for donating a raffle prize for our Father's Day event tomorrow. We are excited to see lots of you tomorrow first thing.

The new Beach Shop and Cafe has been very popular in EYFS provision this week!

Class One have been learning about the Amazon rainforest and reading Lynne Cherry's book The Great Kapok Tree. We saw some great team work and innovative ideas when re-creating the different levels and homes for our Amazonian animals in our garden.

Harlestone's Got Talent! We were treated to a wide variety of entertainment from pony jumping and Cowgirl dances, to musical performances, freeze frame animation, ballet... the list goes on. It was a great talent show! Thanks to the Treatastic team for the refreshments too!
