JJ Abrams talks about how he wants the original version of Star Wars to be released and mentions Despecialized Editions. Bad news is, he pretty much says the originals just won't be released officially.

@DamienKazanFilm Absolutely. I usually try to match the grain on the Blu-Ray, so that it matches shot to shot and doesn't become distracting.

@HarmyP Hi Harmy! Fan of your work here, I was wondering, how do you process film grain on the D.E? After cleaning some shots do you add some grain layer over the footage to match the original grain of the movies? I hope you see this, keep it up!! 😊

@RipplinBuck The scumbags are selling the sets for $60 or more and looking at amazon, you can buy an LG BD burner for $50 and a pack of three Verbatim double-layer Blu-Rays for $10.

@HarmyP A timely message that will always apply. :) Still hoping to get your blu-rays someday. I can't really afford to buy a burner and discs. I had someone lined up to help me at the spleen, but he disappeared. Should I just wait for the next version?

@RipplinBuck Well, the next version is likely to take a while. But you can literally get a blu-ray burner for less that these slimeballs are selling the Despecialized sets for.

@darthbriboy Don't worry about it, I appreciate you realized your mistake and even made a video about it - thank you for that! It's important to spread the word, so that more people realize they shouldn't buy them and it's relatively easy to get them for free. :)

@HarmyP Back in 2017 I purchased two different versions of the despecialized editions which in total cost $75 dollars. When I have the $ I would like to give you that $75 since I feel bad and I feel like I owe you.
