We’re proud that our Singapore team laced up and stepped out for Just Jalan 2026, Pro Bono SG’s biggest fundraiser of the year, held on 14 March at The Kallang.
Just Jalan, which means “just walk” in Malay, brings Singapore's legal community together to walk in support of access to justice, raising funds and awareness for underserved communities across Singapore.
A huge shoutout to Eunice Lau, Richard Griffiths, and Nicole Teng from our Harneys Singapore office for representing the firm and giving their time and energy to such a meaningful cause.
At Harneys, we believe that access to justice matters and that showing up matters too.
Congratulations to Pro Bono SG and the entire Singapore legal community on another incredible Just Jalan.

New decisions from the Bermuda, BVI, and English courts are shaping key principles across trusts, shareholder disputes, and injunctions.
This month, our team examines three significant judgments:
⚖️ Bermuda: Court sets aside a trustee’s tax‑blind distribution — an important reminder of how fiduciary mistakes can be unwound.

⚖️ BVI: Court of Appeal denies a stay in a US$40m shareholder dispute, reinforcing the threshold for stays and shareholder formalities under the BCA.

⚖️ England: High Court discharges a worldwide freezing order for failure to meet the “full and frank” disclosure duty — a timely reminder for applicants seeking urgent relief.

This International Women’s Day, our offices celebrated the incredible women on our teams by embracing the 2026 theme, #GiveToGain, in various ways. From meaningful connections and important conversations to giving thoughtful gifts and team lunches, every gesture was a small reflection of how much we value the contributions and achievements of women across our firm.
These moments weren’t just about one day; they’re part of our ongoing commitment to creating a workplace that’s fair, inclusive, and supportive, and they also serve as a time to reflect, recommit, and work together toward lasting, positive change.
