In it’s new Monday night slot Science Club returned for 2026! Students utilised the wonder of chemistry (reaction of copper sulphate solution with ammonia gas) to turn invisible writing into something they could see. Well done! @HarperGreen

Science clubbers enjoyed reacting glycerol and potassium permanganate tonight. The glycerol is violently oxidised by the permanganate to produce flames and smoke! Well done everyone. @HarperGreen
A fantastic Science Club tonight with Mr Robinson! Students made mini exploding rockets by harnessing the pressure of the gas produced when bicarbonate of soda reacted with ethanoic acid in little canisters! @HarperGreen
Mr Connor’s Plant club transferred their tomato plants from the seed trays to plant pots this week! The students are very excited to see them grow. @HarperGreen
Mr Connor’s Plant Club continues to grow from strength to strength. The students have started growing tomatoes and peppers from seeds as well as Mother of Thousands plants. They are excited to soon plant them outdoors in the school ‘garden’! @HarperGreen
