#Protéger Dans la nuit de mercredi à jeudi, les policiers ont été particulièrement touchés par la détresse d'une jeune fille de 5 ans vivant dans un appartement insalubre. Les policiers lui ont offert un bon petit déjeuner en attendant qu'elle puisse retrouver un foyer décent.

I don’t want my failed relationships to define me or impact how I see myself. After being ghosted this summer and having a traumatic break up on Thanksgiving, things feel hard. I’ve been in a bout of depression. I’ve been trying to suspend negative feelings all I can and use the very same strategies I share with others. I’m so grateful to be in the midst of a mindful mental health mini-series, RNTKY, on my podcast that remind me of why I keep going. I just want to remind everyone that we don’t have to internalize the way people treat us. If people reject us, mistreat us, and betray us- that does not mean we deserve to be treated that way. I talk about how when bad things happen to us, it isn’t always our Karma. Sometimes we don’t deserve what we go through. It may not be Karma, but a part of our Dharma. Dharma as in our life’s mission. There is no pain I’ve been through that has been wasted. I didn’t think I deserved what I went through, but for everything I went through, I’ve helped someone through it too. So here’s your reminder that your pain can show you your purpose, you are not defined by the way people treat you (let it go, it reflects their character not your worth), and sometimes we go through things to help the next person feel less alone 🥰 Thanks for all of you who have made me feel less alone in this break up and the people who have sent a message or comment of support. I appreciate you 💛
