My strategy revolves around swing trades catching momentum. I use the 10 Moving Average (blue line) to mark: Daily Cycle Low: DCL Half Cycle High: HCH Half Cycle Low: HCL Daily Cycle High: DCH When a weekly high/low occurs that’s called an Intermediate Cycle Low/High: ICL/ICH

#DXY Looks to have made an HCH on candle 29 on the daily and now will decline sharply into an HCL, this will give metals a boost up into their cycle highs

The weekly has made an HCH and now due to lack of time has quickly backtested, made an HCL and now backtested. We need a weekly close above the 10 MA to confirm and then this sets up a weekly cycle high above 120. First hurdle as I said is 96 need to get above that asap #silver

#Silver #XAGUSD on the daily has confirmed the DCL at around 64 and is now rising into an HCH. We need price to exceed the high of 96, if it fails we will label that as the HCH (candle 15) and a bearish cycle will start. Currently on candle 21 so still time.

#Brent getting interesting now. Such bearish sentiment but the chart is saying it’s trying to breakout and the STOCH indicator is at a key pivot point. If it breaks, loads those depressed O&G stocks

#Silver #XAGUSD reclaimed the 10 MA on the daily and is now in a blow off top phase. Cycles go out the window in this kind of move but we will wait for a close below the 10 MA to confirm a DCH. 4h is in its timing band for a cycle high and may still push a bit higher.

Apologies I have been away from X. But back now and #Silver has been on a rip. It looks to have made a daily cycle high and will now decline into a DCL around candle 60 so 11 candles time. 4h has made an HCH now declining into HCL. Weekly may have made a WCH but time will tell.

#DGE is taking out lows from over a decade ago. At this stage, I see no reason to buy other than trying to pick a bottom. Until price shows stabilisation or a clear change in behaviour, this remains a watch, not a trade. Let the buyers show their hands.

I’ve got my performance review this Friday, and I already know how it’s going to go. “Noel, you could do better… why didn’t you hit your goals?” And I’ll sit there nodding wisely, pretending it was all due to “global conditions” and “unprecedented headwinds.” No bonus. No pay rise. Just the sweet embrace of corporate reality. Luckily, the pain fades the moment I open my trading account and zoom in on those holdings of metals and think not long to go... Utterly delusional. The Office for Budget Responsibility has estimated that net zero will cost £800 billion of UK public money over the next two decades. We simply can’t afford this and it won’t make a blind bit of difference in ‘saving the planet’.

@JamesMelville At what expense? China doesn’t care about net zero so everything we do will be undone by then. We are just making energy costs ridiculous for our country which is making our economy suffer. China even sells us the materials and parts made using coal energy to make wind farms 🤦‍♂️
