28/10/24 vs Oaklands A strong, team performance…albeit Oaklands gave us a good game! Great movement from Jess & Sam with impressive overheads into the circle, Claire gliding through court, & defense l worked hard & communicated well! Final score Harriers A 46-26 Oaklands ❤️💙

14/10/24 Harriers A vs Focus Education. Breaking the 50 goals barrier for the 1st time this season! Some really nice turnovers & fantastic shooting. Everyone played well with solid teamwork & support for each other. Final score Harriers A 53-28 Focus Education. POTM Daina ❤️💙

7/10/24 Harriers C vs Staffs Roses. We led 9 v 7 after Q1 but in Q2 & 3 a few errors & Roses managed to get in front 34 v 21. In Q4 we made some brilliant passes & shooting on target we managed to hold the gap. Final score Harriers C 32 v 45 Staffs Roses. POTM Molly Spencer❤️💙

(07/10) Harriers B vs Prima. Harriers B started strong & leading 11-9 going into the 2nd half. Q3 saw a tie at 19-19 & in Q4 a goal by Prima in the final seconds of the game saw them clinch the draw 24-24! POTM Nikki ❤️💙

07/10/24 Harriers A vs Tean Spirit. We were up by 3 at 1/2 time, with long range shots up & interceptions. However, with only 6 players, Q3 saw tired legs & we went behind by 7. A change in Q4 saw us pull back to within 5. Final score Harriers A 37v41 Tean Spirit. POTM Shona ❤️💙

30.9.24 Harriers C vs Fury B. A great performance by all! Fab defence by Fury meant we had to work hard to get the ball in the circle. Final score Harriers C 13v27 Fury B. This didn't reflect the effort by Harriers, with some great turnovers & fab teamwork. POTM Alice Wilson❤️💙

30.9.24 Harriers A vs Stafford Sapphires a great team performance from Q1. The defence applied great zone pressure, keeping scoring low throughout. Final score Harriers A 46 v 10 Stafford Sapphires. Excellent shooting & movement from Jess Thyer (GA) saw her achieve POTM ❤️💙

30.09.24 - Harriers Blaze come away with a win vs NS Civil Service 33-20. It was touch & go at the beginning with too many loose passes but once more care on the ball was taken, 1st time balls were given & defence was tightened up, the match went Blaze's way POTM-Ruby ❤️💙

23.9.24 Harriers C - Ahead the whole game, it looked like they were going to get a win, but unfortunately Lench pulled ahead in the last few minutes & the final score ended Harriers C 26-29 Lench. Nonetheless, a fantastic performance by all. POTM-Izzy Boughey ❤️💙

23.9.24 Harriers B. With a bare 7, & having players out of position, we found ourselves chasing from the get go. Some fantastic play throughout. Unfortunately, a relentless defensive unit from the opposition saw a loss of Harriers B 22-43 Pink Panthers. POTM-Julia Yates ❤️💙❤️💙

23.9.24 - Harriers A had a shaky start against a strong, Fenton A team. Starting with 6 meant we went behind by 5 goals but in the 3rd 1/4 we showed our quality & experience! Defence played well making the opposition shoot from far out. Harriers A 35 v 26 Fenton A POTM-Dani❤️💙

The B Team played their 1st match with only 6 players against a strong Div 2 team. Lots of careful & controlled play saw them keep the score close until the end. A debut for Izzy Rigby-Cope, who also was POTM🙌 Well done for keeping your heads! Harriers B 27 v 28 Tornadoes ❤️💙

The A Team welcomed back Claire, who got POTM👏. Ahead from the beginning & kept our cool. Team highs: Fab shooting, feeding & circle back up. Team lows: A clumsy GD🫣 got her 1st warning (too slow Shona!). Great team playing! Harriers A 39 v 29 Tean Valley Spirit. ❤️💙❤️💙

Harriers U11 Flickers played their first 7 aside match yesterday v Stafford. Some great passing, movement and shooting saw the team victorious by 13 goals to 2. OPOM Isabelle Whitehead....Well done all and well deserved Isabelle! 👏👏👏❤️💙❤️💙

Harriers C Vs Civil Service. A squad of 8 quickly turned to 7 when unfortunately Alice took a fall. A shuffle of positions & the game restarted. A close 1st 2 quarters saw us trailing by 2. 3rd quarter we found our next gear ending in a win! Harriers C 24-20 Civil OPOM Jess ❤️💙

A Harriers vs Harriers special tonight as Es took on Blaze. A very strong defensive game from both sides with some excellent standout individual performances. Final score 33-8 to Blaze. Well done to Beth Phillips for her excellent defense earning her OPOM ❤️💙❤️💙

A proud coaching moment watching Harriers E VS Trentham Ladies. The girls were positive, fought for every ball & played the best they have all season. Unfortunately it ended 17-13 to Trentham. Special mention to Lily Steele for a great performance as GA Onwards & upwards ❤️💙

Harriers B 26 - 28 Focus Education. A closely fought game with Harriers B coming within 1 goal at the end of Q3. Focus pulled ahead & took the match by 2 goals. A fab performance by everyone for our best result yet! A superb effort at GD from Jessica Finney earning her POTM ❤️💙

Harriers A vs Newcastle A. 1/4 was goal for goal. 2/4 Harriers were ahead by 2 as we put pressure on their circle feeds, 3/4 Newcastle pulled it back & gained a 2 goal lead. However fab intercepts meant we were victorious!! Harriers A 39-35 Newcastle A. POTM Shona Thompson❤💙

A great game on Monday for Harriers C vs Netsparks. It took a few minutes to get into it but then we controlled the whole game. Making space for each other with great movement off the ball. Excellent defence & attacking play throughout. Harriers C 34 netsparks 22. OPOM Jess ❤️💙
