Some kids grew up at hockey rinks. I grew up at a marina. That's me, ~1981, parked behind the desk at Harris Boat Works like I had anywhere else to be. My dad grew up here too. Now my kids are doing the same thing.

Ryan's been with HBW since 2006. Rigs new boats, does whatever we throw at him. Last name's Gough. A hotel check-in in Mexico called him Señor Gooch that year and it stuck. Twenty years later, still Gooch. We're lucky to have him. #MarineServiceTechWeek #HarrisBoatWorks

Ice is almost gone

1960. The Canteen at Harris Boat Works — hamburgers, ice cream, and every dog in Gores Landing. Ran it from the mid-'50s to '86. The Canteen's gone. The dogs are not. Wherever there's a Harris, there will be dogs.
