My name is Marshall Harris, and I’m 18 years old. I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer.
Since my diagnosis, I’ve gone through two rounds of chemotherapy and underwent a rotationplasty surgery in December. I haven’t been able to walk since then, and every day has brought new challenges.
Before cancer, one of my favorite things to do was skateboard. It gave me freedom and happiness. These days, I spend a lot of my time playing Rocket League and looking forward to the day I can get back to being active again.
My medical journey has been overwhelming, both physically and financially. I need a prosthetic that will cost approximately $15,000, and my treatment expenses have already exceeded $100,000.
