I don't think people realize how good Tanner McKee is and the potential that he has. Great size, vision and throws with great touch, timing and anticipation. He has one more year on his contract. By the end of next year, we will know who the Eagles' future QB is between him and Jalen Hurts. The Eagles are a very aggressive and forward-thinking organization. Eagles vs. Raiders: Strengths and Weaknesses This matchup on Sunday will tell us just how bad it is right now for the Eagles — because make no mistake about it, the Raiders are just as bad as their record indicates. The Raiders aren’t some sneaky good team that has just lost a bunch of close games: ** Seven of their 11 losses have been by more than one possession ** They are 32nd in points per game on offense ** They are 24th in points per game on defense. ** They have more games with less than 10 points scored (3) than they do with games over 30 points scored (0) ** They are not in the top half of the league in almost any meaningful offensive or defensive stat. ** They have one good player on each side of the ball and that really is it. Added on top of all of that is they don’t know who is starting at quarterback on Sunday with Geno Smith dealing with a shoulder injury. There seems to be a good chance the Eagles will be facing Kenny Pickett, their backup quarterback from last season. True, the Eagles aren’t in no position right now to take anyone lightly. Inside the building they can’t assume this is a win. Just ask the 2023 Eagles have much an easy schedule down the stretch helped them. But outside the building the expectation should be clear — if the Eagles are serious about doing anything in the playoffs they need to not only win on Sunday, but do it in a way that shows there is a wide gap between them and arguably the worst team in the league.
