@daanysaeed Yeah I think tone matters. If they were ridiculing him then maybe different. I’m just not sure what Dan is angry about here when he was actually given praise and, if anything, more advertising than he paid for! Darcy Moore: “I’m here for this, take them on.”

@ollycaffrey I probably agree but I think there would be an argument to mount the other way! Complete irrelevance for the first 14 years of an existence does more damage to an expansion club than it does to legacy clubs like Richmond and Brisbane (semi-legacy, ie Fitzroy)

Way-too-early hypothetical question: if Gold Coast win the flag this year, who would have had the more successful overall existence out of the expansion clubs - Suns or Giants?
