I love camos in cod but it seem like BO7s motto was "Oh yall loved all the camos in MW3? WELL HERES TWICE AS MANY CAMOS" theres canos for everything in this game🫩 where are the cool ahh operators, and blueprints... mainly a camo grinding simulator (via gun unlock, challenge, or weekly event) and im not complaining just funny when i think about it

I agree... I think a lot of times people use the word "casual" in place of "lower skill". I know some people who would be considered "casual" based on the amount of time they play the game, but are still good at the game. In my opinion, there are no more "casuals" anymore. COD has been out since 2003. If you havent gotten better at something after 23 years, there's something wrong. There is simply people who got better at the game and some that didn't.

@AzClipzz "casual" is mixed up with average. If you're a casual player, you barely play the game and most likely don't have a lot of the guns leveled up speaking from experience of my friends who I game with. You can't call yourself casual if you're playing the game at a consistent rate.

One thing you're not considering is that it doesn't take a lot of time to level up 2 weapons. With loadouts, you have to level up just 2 guns, and then you get to use basically the same 2 guns with the same set of attachments every game. You get used to the movement, the recoil and the TTK. With black ops royale, you now have to get used to the movement, recoil and ttk for every ground loot weapon, at multiple upgrade levels and with 2 different archetypes that provide 2 different sets of attachments. How can that not be harder than just using the same 2 guns with the same attachments over and over? Sure, the initial pain of levelling up those 2 guns might be a bit of a pain, but lets be honest, metas are metas for weeks at a time, and it takes just a couple games of casuals to get your weapons upgraded to meta builds.

@AzClipzz I don't understand how this could even be an argument if loadouts require you to play the game a lot to have the guns leveled up. Casuals DONT play a lot so realistically this mode should make things more of an even playing field for them.

Getting mad at casuals for wanting to play casuals is crazy to me. Try to think of it another way. Let’s say you play basketball, but you don’t feel like playing a game, and just feel like going to just shoot around. Get a few shots up, no scrimmage, and just relax and have a good time. With the same logic that people have with Warzone, they’re basically saying that if you ever want to play basketball at a court, you can only play a real game, and can only play against people trying to go pro. Because the game of basketball exists and some people play it professionally, you’re never allowed to just shoot around because the pros need someone to dunk on.

@HarryBotter83 @NatarshaAU The tiny ones are the ones to worry about. There’s big huntsmen but I haven’t seen one of those in years. It’s really just the daddy long legs which are harmless.

I think that's the issue - so many people play the game differently and for different reasons. Black Ops Royale is objectively a harder game mode. Imagine you're a casual that only plays a couple times/hours a week - Why would you want to play this over what you're already used to and currently enjoy? Not everyone is out here striving to be the best of the best, or push to make content. They're just out here trying to have fun, vibe with the boys, and make the best out of the few hours that they have. And, playing a mode that is objectively harder is not where they want to spend their time. As much as I think Casuals was/is a bad idea, I understand why so many people love it and play it. Call it a participation trophy if you want to, but the vast majority of people that play this game aren't out here trying to make the Olympics. It's a video game that is meant to be fun, and there is a mode right now that is capturing the fun for the majority of the player base.

Everyone has their own opinion and you can never please everyone, but MAN some of the takes I’m seeing about BO Royale are WILD… Battle Royale was in dire need of a shape up and now offers you more to do than reg WZ ever did. Completely agree on needing solos asap though. Seems alot of folks specifically want casual big map back MORE so than just Verdansk.

I 100% get where you're coming from. But, to be honest, I don't care what the definition of a real BR experience is. That definition doesn't have any impact on what I find fun or enjoy playing. My point is that I like one experience over another. And I think that's fine. If you like the blackout experience over the loadout experience, then that's great. I'm not going to sit here and try to convince you that you should change your mind and force yourself to find loadout WZ fun. This whole black ops royale vs loadout WZ is turning into COD vs Battlefield, and it's a bit ridiculous. I think everyone is entitled to enjoy the games and the modes that they like, and people need to stop trying think that because they like one experience over the other that everyone else should too. I'm happy that COD is expanding the game and giving more people new ways to play the game. At the end of the day, the more people playing the game, the better we'll all be off, regardless of what game mode people play. Whether thats plunder, casuals, BR, black ops royale etc.

@HarryBotter83 @KooterBomb Brother u love loadouts I understand but that ISNT a real BR experience COD made loadouts to get the multiplayer kids to come try their BR and it worked clearly but this is the closes to a real BR experience we're gotten since blackout that actually plays decent.

I don't know what to tell you, but you are having a wildly different experience than I am. I'm not exaggerating when I say that almost every single game I've played (~15-20), I've been lucky enough to have purple or gold weapons and a lvl 1 vest off rip maybe 2-3 times, but in almost every one of my games the very first team I run into have at least purple or gold weapons, and all have at least a lvl 1 vest. I've tried landing different places too, and there are places with better loot, but in general, my experience has been the same in the vast majority of my games. With yesterdays update there is definitely more upgrade kits and vests around, so that is nice, but it's still not enough for me to want to keep playing. I just don't find this style of BR fun. It's most definitely a skill issue, but I could really care less about trying to get better at this mode. I'm a 3.5kd BR player, but I'd be lucky if my KD was any higher than 1.5 in black ops royale. If you were to give me the option to play BR on Avalon vs black ops royale, smell ya never black ops royale. And don't get me wrong, I don't think they need to make any changes to the game. Yesterdays update to the loot were really good - More upgrade kits and vests and less LMGs and Novalines (or whatever those god awful guns are) have made regaining much better. I think it's just a preference on the playstyle, and I very much prefer the loadout version of BR.

@HarryBotter83 @KooterBomb The ONLY way ur running into full teams w armor lvl 2-3 and gold guns is Mid to late game and if u don't have your level 2 by then then idk what to tell you lol, I'm averaging 12+ kills a game and that's when i play with a team too. Its all about where u land and NOT dying early

I'm excited to play BR on Avalon, but I feel like its going to be even more of a snipers paradise... There is soooooo much open space inbetween every POI. If you snipe, you'll be loving it, but if you don't, rotations are going to get tough. But, with that being said, I'm liking it a lot. Lots of diversity, map visually looks awesome. I think it could be up there as one of the top for sure. For me, I loved Al Mazrah as a map, but it got killed because of WZ2 mechanics.

@KooterBomb I understand people hating black ops royale but no way people hating Avalon. Best BR map easily
