#ProjectAfrica Day 39: 21.7km Visa Day. An unavoidable part of the process. Feel like a lost dog. Look down. No tarmac anywhere. Look up. Lots of men in suits. Waiting for the big boys sitting behind desks to give us the all clear to continue vibrating road throughout the African continent. It came eventually, visas for Angola, DRC & Republic of Congo finally secured, but with a 3 hour drive to yesterdays finish point, I wasn’t able to get on the beloved 1’s & 2’s until 16:15. Not much time to get some mileage in before night was upon us and we had to get off the road to avoid situations like the other night🔫 No nice pro shots today. So here’s a photo of my face on Day 39 and Day 1. 200+ more to go. Some journey.🫡
