🏆 Wrexham Foresters were crowned Central Wales North League champions last week, after an unbeaten campaign in tier three. They had to come from behind to retain that record though, after a strong Airbus UK Broughton side were 2-0 up in the game on Tuesday night. Tiffany Sands and Ffion Jones originally gave Airbus the advantage, before second-half quickfire goals from Louise Wilson and Laura Tobin saw Foresters claim a point. A playoff awaits with Llangefni Town for a spot in the Genero Adran North, pending licensing appeals.

Little rant. Maybe it's just my research background, don't know, but last few months have been frustrating, disappointing, when too many times we've seen history forgotten and research be really lazy in regards to women's football in Wales. Recent statistics and articles from too many that have been produced have been incredibly disappointing when basic research hasn't been done. I won't mention specific ones, as it's unfair and publicity is good, but accuracy is important and only fair to those in the past. Women's football in Wales existed before the Adran Leagues. Women's football exists below it. It's certainly been represented in Europe before this year, crazy that that's even got to be clarified. The more people that ignore that or don't acknowledge it, the less likely we're to grow it in a way that truly reflects the work done before from those that invested their time into it when others wouldn't. I hate being negative, but it's something that has to be said. It's been a year of growth and record breaking numbers for Welsh women's football, let's keep it that way whilst remembering how we got there.

🔍 The Cup Finals continue across Cymru, and the Central Wales FA U15s Girls Cup Final sees two clubs that continue to increase opportunities for women's and girls' football. Llanidloes Town host Berriew, 7pm kickoff at KVM Park, in what is set to be the final of several highly-contested fixtures between the two Mid Wales sides.

🔴 Izzy Barnett was part of the Wrexham side that narrowly missed out on the national U19s title last season, however, leading the team this season as captain, The Red Dragons finally found a way, in their final season together. A family with an affiliation to the women's and men's side at Wrexham, with brother Ryan part of the side which has risen through the EFL, the trophy lift in South Wales for Izzy marked another special moment. Watch the full highlights and reaction of Pontypridd United vs Wrexham in the Genero Adran U19s Premier Conference via the link below! cymrusport.cymru/highlights-and…

💬 After winning SWWGL Division Three in their first senior season, Ponthir AFC are only just getting started. A young side, with a squad made up of 16 and 17 year olds, there's a lot of potential amongst the Torfaen-based side. Youth squads thriving, with interest from the leagues above, all the way up to the Genero Adran Premier. They're a club to keep an eye on. Listen to our full interview with Owen Palmer and Lilly Price on last week's Adran Leagues Show, via the link below!

📰 Connah's Quay Nomads have announced the departure of Jordan Parry after five years in charge. Back-to-back unbeaten title winning seasons in the Genero Adran North, Nomads narrowly missed out on promotion to the Genero Adran Premier last month after defeat to Cardiff Met in the promotion playoff.

Jordan Parry has stepped down as @the_nomads manager after over five years in charge ❤️ Parry led the Nomads to back-to-back Genero Adran North titles, going unbeaten in both title-winning seasons, and played a key role in creating the club's Girls Player Development Centre 👏
