Grateful to Debjani Paul, Assistant Editor at Sunday Mid-day, for shining a compassionate light on the world of ALS — on those living with the condition and the devoted caregivers. Her thoughtful coverage not only honours their courage but also fosters deeper understanding, empathy, and support for families across the country. She has also beautifully captured ALSCAS’s inception journey and the impactful work the organization continues to do. 🔗Full article: mid-day.com/amp/sunday-mid… . . . . . . . #ALSAwareness #EndALS #CureALS #FightALS #ALSwarrior #ALSHeroes #ALScas #ALS #govtofindia #ALSindia #TargetAls #IamAls #ALSassociation #InternationaAllianceofmndalsassociation

@IndianAditi @ShoneeKapoor The Right to Education (RTE) Act of 2009 explicitly prohibits "physical punishment" and "mental harassment" in schools, making it a punishable offense for teachers!

An 8-year-old girl is DEAD because a teacher thought “100 sit-ups” was an acceptable punishment for coming late. Yes — 100 sit-ups. With her heavy schoolbag on. A child suffering from anemia, a child who was medically fragile, was forced to do a punishment that even trained athletes would struggle to complete. She collapsed. She cried in pain. She was taken to the hospital. And she never came back home. This is not discipline. This is brutality wearing a school uniform. This is the kind of “education system” that destroys children instead of building them. Schools are supposed to protect — not punish to death. Teachers are supposed to nurture — not torture. If a child dies simply because she was late, then the system is sick, the training is nonexistent, and the accountability is ZERO. A child didn’t die because she lacked discipline. She died because adults forgot she is a CHILD. This case demands FIRs, arrests, suspension, investigation — NOT excuses, not cover-ups, not lame apologies. #JusticeForTheChild #SchoolPunishment #StopSchoolAbuse #ChildSafety #EducationReform #AccountabilityNow

SHOCKER 🚨 An influencer throws a cold drink bottle on a national highway to make a reel, where vehicles pass at over 100 km/h 😠 Even a tiny piece of glass can puncture a tyre and cause a deadly accident. What’s the solution? x.com/lakshaymehta08…
