What even is one supposed to do man, it's crazy how excluded contributors feel being part of the community here. I am part of some others and the amount of weightage they give to the involvement of contributors and hence making their time worth is just a world of difference

Never wanted to generalize candidates based on where they work but there is one Big Tech company I’m increasingly tempted to avoid altogether.
I’ve been interacting with candidates from there for almost 5+ years now and the patterns seem remarkably consistent: a sense of entitlement, little effort toward interview preparation, frequent screening and interview no-shows without prior notice and candidates pushing for inflated levels that they often struggle to justify during interviews.
Many end up getting rejected because the expected depth in software engineering, ownership, scope and impact simply isn’t there for the level they’re targeting.
At some point, you start understanding why some hiring managers already approach those profiles with skepticism. Could be a coincidence. Could be selection bias. But the pattern has been hard to ignore.

Question is can you consider a Jr. BE dev or an intern?

Started debugging around 1:37PM Eventually found the root cause, fixed it, looked at the time expecting it to be around 6 It was 9:17 Contributing to os has made me realize how much time goes into building context of a codebase you didnt write Also deleted about 50+ debug logs
