@EzzieRosemberVT @perplexexpress That's a feedback loop though because the less people buy it in the west, the less effort they'll put into marketing and merch. I don't think Splatoon will ever get to this point but eventually this spiral leads to the games themselves being Japan exclusive.

@perplexexpress I fear it's for the same reason that a lot of Nintendo's "other IPs" don't catch on: They don't frickin' market them! Japan gets lots of Splatoon merch, exclusive gear through events, manga tie-ins! Everywhere else? ...we're lucky to even have Amiibo selling in our stores!

I know our friends in France have complained for many years about Disneyland Park getting nothing new in decades. But, with a new Universal Park coming to the UK, I bet the whole DLP resort is in line for a lot of updates over the next decade.

@DLPReport My uneducated assumption is the plan currently sits like this: 2027-28: 35th + extend (flash off frozen a bit more) 2029 or 30: Lion king to keep the new attendance numbers up for studios. 2032-33: 40th + extend 2034 or 35: 3rd expansion or start on 3rd gate construction.
