Last year the Sox went 48-33 at Fenway, good for the 10th best home win%. If they match that this year, they will basically need to be one of the 2 or 3 best road teams in baseball for the remainder of the season to reach 90 wins. In other words, need to f'in dominate @ Fenway.

@TomCaron Tom - This has been an issue for multiple years even with new players coming in. At what point is this a coaching problem? The only constant over the years has been Cora.

Last year’s biggest issues were defense and strikeouts. The Sox have committed twice as many errors through six games as they did at this point last season. They struck out 38 times over 3 games in Houston. Yes, it’s early. Very early. But it’s also troubling to see this start.

He hit 8th or 9th for an NL team last year. Ranger Suarez is an NL pitcher that throws 90. They have 2 good hitters. Roman and Wilyer. TWO!

Red Sox get swept and start the season 1-5 for the first time since 2019. Before that? 2012. Then in 2011 they were 0-6. I don’t believe they’ve ever made the playoffs with that record or worse to start a season.
