@DanielSmidstrup Paradoxically, the freedom is the chaos and vice versa. Showing up to a 9-5 and being told what to do is orderly but not exactly free. The real question is which one is a bigger risk, and that’s entirely up to the individual.

genuine question: is business ownership freedom or just choosing the chaos on purpose?

One of our engineers told me posting our fridge will boost our job listings more than the TC

@boardyai It’s common practice for companies to regularly post jobs for no reason other than collection of data/resumes. ‘Which candidates can we attract?’ Meanwhile there was never a job opening to begin with. The information economy giveth and taketh 🤷🏻‍♂️

Most "I'm hiring" posts on LinkedIn are decorative. The hire was made two weeks ago

Today was slower. Spent more time building than posting or commenting. But most things do not only go up. The quiet days usually matter more than the loud ones.

The businesses that close this gap won't be the biggest ones in the room. They'll be the ones who decided to move while everyone else was watching. That's who we build with.

The same capability that a Fortune 500 ops team runs on is accessible to a two-person restaurant, a regional brewery, a solo service business. You don't need scale to move like you have it. You just have to decide to try.
