NASCAR has postponed today's race due to rain until tomorrow at 11am central time on USA.

Hi all, Daniel here, Pre-race starts at 1pm and green flag about 1:45pm central time on USA. Also rain could impact today's race as it's currently raining at the track.

@BrookeLipoff @jeff_gluck Pretty sure it was Byron as he led the last 5-6 laps before the caution while Suarez, Allmendinger, and McDowell were duking it out for 2nd.

@Harvick4Fans @jeff_gluck Who was leading when 4 spun out? (Really can’t remember) but was it 24?

I'll be honest: I see a lot of you are pissed at NASCAR, but I'm not exactly understanding why. Everyone knew they were racing to the rain. Then it started raining with more closing in. Couldn't get restarted. It's going to rain for hours. So why is everyone so upset? Fill me in.

@Duvy_4 Maybe you have but not me, I have enjoyed the majority of races over the last 3 years and we've had many opportunities to win or run in the top 5. No we haven't been as good as we'd like to be every week but their have been a lot more good than bad for me.

@Harvick4Fans Also, putting this one behind us and get back on track next week is what we’ve been saying every week for three years now. The priorities of the team owners are currently focused on other forms of Motorsports. This Nascar team has take a back seat to all their other teams.

Had such high hopes for tonight's race and this was pretty disappointing race. Car wasn't very good after about 20 laps and then gets spun late to killed his day and opportunity to salvage a good finish. Just have to put this one behind us and get back on track next week.

@DannyCo92170087 I think because of how loose the car was because the few times I noticed him in the high line it didn't seem like he could keep up as well as other could.

@Harvick4Fans That and it was totally apparent the high side moved better why Kevin stayed on the inside I don’t know but I driver so maybe he his reasons just disappointed love to see him take the checkerd flag once more 😀😃

Surprisingly Harvick pits here for 4 tires, fuel, and an adjustment. With rain so close, really thought he'd stay out to gain track position and try to race for the win. Will now restart around 28th as only about 12 cars pitted.

After tonight's race, Kevin Harvick is down to 9th in points, 98 back of points leader Martin Truex Jr.

The race has now been officially called. William Byron wins the rain shortened race at Atlanta. Kevin Harvick finishes 30th.

Race has now been red flagged due to rain. Race will likely be called in the next few minutes as this a pretty big shower.

@JustinRTolman Yeah. Seems like the cars good for about 20 laps then progressively gets looser and looser causing him to fall back.

@Harvick4Fans Car had some short run speed that stint he worked close to the top-10. But generally seems off tonight. Bummed for sure.

Harvick now scored 31st, 5 laps down after having to limp back to pit road with a flat tire after contact with Denny Hamlin. A shame too because was making progress and had raced his way up into the top 20 after restarting 28th.

7th caution is out with 82 laps to go as both Bubba Wallace and Ryan Preece go around.

Harvick just spun around on the front stretch and now limps to pit road with a flat right front tire. No caution. Day over, just got screwed.

90 laps to go: Harvick up to 22nd. William Byron leads.
