Still scraping but I think almost done. I've imported what I have so far into the db to play with: 44k listings. 248k variants Because each shop organizes their products in different ways.

rough plan (05 May): * Train few image models first to help categorize the product listings. Something I can do fast and iterate often. * Group listings using embeddings from qwen3-vl-embedding (reranker required? idk) * then train more image models with the categorized listings

Few days ago: * Tried Gemini 3 Flash for categorization. So that I can train a smaller image classification model. * Built UI to review the labels * Gemini's classification were horrible So I spent yesterday labelling these manually (04 May)

Got back to working on this 2 days ago. Codex /goal is GOAT. 27hrs and still scraping away. 269 sites completed. Few more to go.

In an elixir project right now. One of the things I love today- I dont have the constraint of libraries not existing in a specific language. I'll just port it with parity tests 😂

@DeepakNesss I have a few ideas. I hope it comes out atleast half like what I want it to be. I build the same site with my wife during covid. Doing it all over again now alone with my daughter's screams background music 😂

@DeepakNesss Scraping mechanical keyboards and parts to build a search catalog site for these. Fun project I dropped a long time ago but I can attempt now because I don’t have to do the work 😂

Something that is obvious in hindsight but wasn't at first (to me): CTOs operate in a high-trust universe, CEOs operate in a low-trust universe. A reductive framing: CTO = epistemic environment CEO = narrative environment
