I’m building a Python job queue. I’ve been obsessed with queues & offline processing since 2011. In fact, I released an open-source library called Schedulr back then & ran a hosted version of it for a couple of years. It was basically "Google Cloud Run before Google Cloud Run"

Still scraping but I think almost done. I've imported what I have so far into the db to play with:

rough plan (05 May):
* Train few image models first to help categorize the product listings. Something I can do fast and iterate often.
* Group listings using embeddings from qwen3-vl-embedding (reranker required? idk)
* then train more image models with the categorized listings

Few days ago:
* Tried Gemini 3 Flash for categorization. So that I can train a smaller image classification model.
* Built UI to review the labels
* Gemini's classification were horrible
So I spent yesterday labelling these manually (04 May)
