Photonics is still next.
A lot of our research was on Bofa's $14B --> $73B TAM.
Now Goldman Sachs mic drops with $15B --> $150B by 2028 😱
Just bc the easy $ repricing happened.
Doesn't mean it's too late.
My photonics ETF with allocations free to see on @joinautopilot
@michaelsikand@joinautopilot Is me IRL whenever I see you post and trade.
Almost feels like cheating when all I have to do is “Approve trade.” And rake in all the profits!
Woah.
My photonics fund on @joinautopilot now has over $10M AUM.
Since Iran, the fund is up 47.8% vs. 2.2% for the S&P with AUM growing 4000%.
99% of people will NEVER pick individual stocks.
Autopilot is forever disrupting the multi-trillion dollar ETF industry...
@michaelsikand I don’t know what these other guys are promoting in this reply section.
But my boy Micheal already made me $12,000.
Sooo imma keep letting the chef cook..and I keep eating. Only pilot on autopilot I trust to fly the plane! 😎💸
$KRKNF Q4 earnings update: Anduril ramping, C$222M in orders, Iran catalyst, and uplisting.
Today's earnings call was full of easter eggs, so here are the top takeaways for asymmetric investors 🪺🦑
1) Can we acknowledge what a gem this business is? Most small cap defense stocks are shitcos that aren't profitable. This is a small cap drone battery stock that is guiding for 65% revenue and 80% EBITDA growth this year. 2025 revenue grew only 12%, but gross profit jumped 42% and gross margins expanded from 49% to 62%. Q4 alone hit 70% gross margins. Quality is the story as this is business is BOTH profitable and rapidly scaling.
2) Anduril ramp. The Halifax battery facility is live, albeit being delayed, now bringing total battery capacity to C$200-250M annually but get this. CEO Greg Reid for the first time ever addressed the idea of building MORE battery capacity specifically in the United States (ahem, Anduril's factory in Rhode Island). This is huge and invalidates the bear case that Kraken can't meet Anduril demand. I am assuming Kraken has to see a US Navy order (I think it's possible this comes this year or next) to justify committing to Anduril and Anduril commiting to full production and vice versa.
3) Iran / Strait of Hormuz tailwinds are real. Greg called mine counter measures demand "urgent operational requirements" for multiple navies. Kraken built up inventory precisely for this moment and expects to win share from larger peers because they can move faster as a smaller company. KATFISH which is Kraken's towed mine hunting vehicle is turning the corner as a result of this trend as MCM becomes a procurement supercycle.
4) It's gonna be a HUGE year with a beat looking pretty clear. $87M in product orders YTD plus ~$50M services business annual run rate already puts Kraken at ~80% of the midpoint of 2026 guidance. Combined YTD orders: ~$222M across Kraken and Covelya, the company they just acquired. Greg cautioned against annualizing it given the massive hype around subsea intelligence tech right now, but the pro-forma entity is already operating at an incredible scale.
5) TSX uplisting is happening this year. It "remains on our roadmap for 2026," with timing tied to the Covelya close. Graduating off the Venture exchange opens the door to institutional capital that's currently locked out, as institutions hold just 20% of the float. This is another major catalyst.
My thinking: Kraken stock continues to be the vast majority of my personal portfolio. It is profitable, attractively valued, has a large moat, is extremely fast-growing, and well-managed. I can genuinley sleep easy at night knowing I'm loaded into this stock. I think it will outperform the vast majority of the market and is sitting at a support level. Could I be missing out on some photonics upside right now? Probably. Is it worth chasing companies in the short-term I have less conviction in? Usually not. I've made some epic trades in the last 6 months with my actively traded capital like $AAOI +180%, $BE +120%, $AEHR +70%, $SOI.PA +60%, $IQE +100% and for now, that's satiating my short-term asymmetric appetite.
Kraken's long term prospects are tied to the autonomous defense supercycle which in my opinion is the best risk adjusted investment category. It gets all the benefit of AI with the resilience of long-term defense spending and contracts, which can cushion these businesses in an AI bubble downturn. How can you not be long Anduril?
The underwater defense supercycle is just getting started, and finally just got mainstream attention with the CENTCOM literally citing the deployment of "underwater drones" in the Strait. I believe the Iran war has firmly put mine countermeasures, naval warfare, torpedos, blockades, shipping lanes back at top of mind and Kraken is the best stock to benefit from all that attention.
I look forward to continuing to cover Kraken Robotics for the retail investor community. Thanks to those who read my posts and support me as a full-time stock content creator.
@michaelsikand@joinautopilot My man out here making me some 💸💸 on autopilot..best decision I did back in October….and I’m up ⬆️. Best pilot on the app!
30% in 1 week with 5 stocks.
On 2/19, I launched a public stock portfolio on @joinautopilot called "Photonics Is Next".
The idea? Own the 5 best stocks for AI's next $1T bottleneck.
First $AAOI jumped 57% after ER.
Then Nvidia invested $4B in $LITE and $COHR.
@michaelsikand@joinautopilot I’ve been on autopilot for about 10months. Gosh I was excited to see you enter into the app. Been investing in you since asymmetric bets and “Micheal long game” turned Photo. whenever I saw that I had to double check to make sure I was still following my boy! Keep making me $$ 😂
The next $1T AI bottleneck isn't power, compute, or memory.
It's connectivity.
And the only solution is light.
So I launched @joinautopilot's first ever photonics themed stock portfolio.
AI clusters are hitting a "Copper Wall."
Signal decay, thermal loss, and power constraints make electronic interconnects unviable past 800G.
Networking already eats up to 50% of data center power.
As Gilad Shainer, Senior VP of Networking at NVIDIA, recently noted, the exponential growth of AI requires a “new class of high-speed, scalable networking".
The physics are simple: electrons move through copper and generate heat.
Photons travel through fiber with near-zero loss.
As we scale to 1.6T and 3.2T architectures, every watt saved on interconnects is a watt returned to compute!
Without this transition to light, the industry faces a physical ceiling that threatens to stall the progress of LLMS.
A full supply chain repricing over optical tech is just beginnnig.
The "Photonics Is Next" portfolio maps every layer:
$LITE (21.07%) Single most critical chokepoint. ONLY supplier of 200Gbps EMLs. No EMLs = no transceivers = no AI cluster. NVIDIA GB200 and Google TPUv7 critical supplier.
$COHR (20.33%) Most vertically integrated player in photonics. 6-inch InP wafers mean 4x the chips at half the cost. Book-to-bill over 4x. $5.81B record backlog booked through 2027. No competitor matches this integration depth.
$TSEM (18.96%) ONLY pure-play silicon photonics foundry. NVIDIA partnership is the strongest endorsement in the space. 50+ customers. Tripling capacity with a $650M expansion. CPO foundry tech.
$CIEN (15.59%) WaveLogic 6 is the only 1.6T coherent system deployed at scale. $7.8B backlog. Just re-entered the S&P 500. 50% North American optical networking share. In-house 3nm silicon.
$AAOI (14.81%) $4B Amazon deal transformed this company. In-house InP laser fab gives them a supply edge during the industry-wide EML shortage. 3 of the top 5 hyperscalers as customers. Ramping to 200K units/mo.
$INTC (9.24%) Pioneered silicon photonics. Shipped over 8M photonic integrated circuits with 32M on-chip lasers. Their OCI chiplet is the first fully integrated optical I/O co-packaged with a CPU. Smaller position, optionality on a turnaround.

But I’m just a normal civilian with no voice lol but MAN does this seem like a cool idea!
I mean workout with Larry Wheels, Togi!
JESSE! And Jason would be my two fo sho!
I wish that someone out there would create like an app (Or hell just a cool raffle place we can “Bid” on) so we could like enjoy a workout with like a workout influencer..That would be dope!
