Trump.” In reality, Trump has said since 2015 that he would never allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon. Abdul and the Democrats’ lies have real world consequences. During Friday’s May Day “protest” outside the White House we captured “86-47” posters next to a puppet display of President Trump being sexually assaulted by Benjamin Netanyahu. The elected Democrats and their candidates are sick.

Problem is, they don’t know how to live in scarcity, because all they ever known was inflated abundance. Which means c we are about to see some very, VERY ugly scenes coming out of the U.S.

Scarcity is going to become the word of the year here very shortly. Americans have been very coddled for the last 80 years in terms of consumerism and its cold comforts and distractions. The real world is about to slap America so hard it may never truly recover.

I read a post on here the other day about how this person's local Goodwill store was filled with Shein and other Chinese fast fashion. Which is crazy, because there's a real possibility that the used clothes cost more at the thrift store than they did at point of original sale.

I feel so bad for the kids these days. The price spread between the donation bin and luxury consignment has totally collapsed. In my youth, if you knew even a little bit about fashion, this gave you enough information asymmetry to utterly dominate your local charity stores.

This is a tough problem to crack because "we want people to retire in the home they raised a family in" is super popular policy but it also requires making families with kids live in less desirable neighborhoods or crappier housing.

This is a subset of the affordability debate but I think there are a fair number of youngish Americans with $200-250k household incomes who feel like that should afford a nicer lifestyle than it actually can in top 10 metros (in part because retirees still have the good houses).

I do not understand what billionaires think the final outcome of all this is. If nobody has a living wage, they cannot buy your products, pay for your services, or rent the properties being owned and hoarded. At that point, does the whole thing not just collapse?

I have essentially stopped eating at all fast food places.
They have entirely surpassed my willingness to pay: I will simply not buy a $20 Big Mac meal.
