Work on the Haslemere Neighbourhood Plan started 9 years ago when residents got together to discuss the new rights set out in the Localism Act 2011. Years of public consultation, community engagement events and evidence gathering followed, but we are here, today, the 7th Oct 2021

Only residents of the Plan area (which includes the settlements of Beacon Hill, Critchmere, Grayswood, Haslemere, Hindhead and Shottermill) are eligible to vote in the referendum and will have received a poll card.
If the Haslemere Neighbourhood Plan is approved by a majority on 7th Oct, it will be used by the local Planning Authority to determine planning applications within the area.
