Trevor Ombija has just exposed something ugly in this country. The slow, deliberate attempt to manufacture hatred between communities for political survival. That is the oldest trick in the book divide Kenyans so they never unite against failed leadership. When the people start asking hard questions about the economy, corruption and broken promises, suddenly the conversation is turned into Luo versus Kikuyu. That is not journalism. That is political choreography. Kenyans must refuse to be used. Media houses especially must remember their responsibility to the nation. Stations that speak to the Kikuyu community must never allow themselves to become tools for tribal incitement the way Ramogi TV was shamefully pushed to frame the interview. The media should question power, not serve it. And let me be clear. I am a proud Luo. I do not need permission from anyone to say it. But being Luo does not mean surrendering my mind or my conscience. Leadership is not determined by tribe; it is determined by courage, honesty and the willingness to stand with the people when it matters most. If the choice is between silence, cowardice and leaders who only appear when power calls them or standing with someone who speaks boldly to the issues affecting Kenyans then the decision is simple. Between Oburu Odinga, Raymond Omollo and Babu Owino, I will stand with Rigathi Gachagua without apology. Because Kenya must move beyond the cheap politics of tribe. The future of this country will not be built by those who weaponize identity. It will be built by those who are brave enough to confront power and unite the people.

I have made peace with the fact that Kenya will never get a president like Mwai Kibaki, a man who had almost zero corruption cases. President Kibaki loved Kenyan children in a manner that shocked many,he provided free education to all,I remember chiefs could question parents whose kids did not go to school. I really hope someone somewhere will come to our rescue someday, if a president can't give free education he has no business being in statehouse!!
