yeah , as much as I love gazza and those guys can’t let nostalgia blind us. Bellingham has been unbelievable and very influential to England’s recent success , at only 23. He deserves to be put right up there with the best already. We’d have been out in ro16 of the euros without him and possibly out of this World Cup aswell

I agree Jude is right up there but gazza did alot for England. Stuart Pearce said it , “the only reason we managed to get to two semi finals was because of Gascoigne”. one of the most influential players we’ve had. Jude may have surpassed him in terms of legacy for England because of the goals and clutch moments but gazza was phenomenal, maybe the most talented player we’ve ever had and was a big game player too

I might be wrong but pretty sure he didn’t fail for the klitschko fight , he failed for the rematch that never happened and the controversy before that was the hammer fight , that was classed as a no contest on his record before.
