What if this is all a strategy?
The U.S. and Israel increase pressure on #Iran, and the Strait of Hormuz becomes unstable or even closed. This reduces oil supply from the #MiddleEast to Europe and others.
At the same time, the U.S. gains control over #Venezuelan oil and starts selling it to #Europe and countries like India at higher prices.
Russia stays quiet, possibly because of a deal: the U.S. eases some oil sanctions on Russia, and in return, #Russia doesn’t blame or oppose the U.S. for controlling Venezuela’s oil.
In the end, oil prices go up, supply is controlled, and the U.S. benefits the most.
